Getting to the Root Causing the Fall of the U.S.

March 27, 2013

I have been unemployed for several years. Applying for jobs has been a fruitless attempt. Either I do not qualify for a job because I am unemployed, or I am overqualified. (You see, I have a masters degree in engineering). To say the least, I never expect any effort to get a job to succeed after all these years. However, I know God has not forgotten me. But the thing I wish to discuss does connect with this situation of mine I have brought up.

I came across a person in the medical field who told me that she could get me placed on disability. In other words, I could get paid while not working. I refused that offer, because I am more than capable of working for one thing, and the other is that I will not take other people’s money to do nothing. What that means is I have morals. I have a moral code I abide by which unfortunately; there are many others who, shall we say, have no morals. They take money from the government to not work when they very well are able to work. This is in a nutshell what is wrong with this country and why it is going to fall.

You see, this is what it is all about. It is light against darkness; good vs. evil; those who love God against those who hate God, those who have morals against those who do not. Unfortunately, the God haters run this country. The ones in control of our government have no qualms in taking what somebody has and giving it to someone else. In any other person’s book, this would be called stealing, but to the government, this is compassion or making everyone have the same amount of freedom. The word freedom is constantly bantered about in a twisted definition so that the evil can take from the average person to give it to someone else so that recipient will be beholden to them. Freedom to someone else’s money is not a right, and yet that is exactly what is going to happen more and more in the coming days. The government is going to raid your bank accounts to satisfy its desire for money and power.

It should not be this way. For those of us who know God, we have God backing us up. We have the power available to defeat the forces of darkness that run this country. Jesus made that power available to us at our fingertips. He said, “All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.” (Matthew 28: 18) And what does Jesus do with that power? He said, “I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10: 19) We have the power to take over this country and put things back to where they should be. The evil should not be running this country, but the righteous before God have let the evil take control. They run the government, the educational system, the media, etc. We have played our life game of living quietly and not making any noise, and let others make havoc with our society in the mean time. An example of this is when we allowed prayer to be taken out of our schools with hardly a whimper in protest. See where that has led us.

God is giving us one last chance to save this nation. We have to rise up in a great protest unlike any other protest in history and put God first in our society. One cannot sit back and have prayer meetings and prophetical meetings where a prophet can say, “God is going to change things in this country; we just have to keep praying.” It does not work that way. Our Founding Fathers spilt their blood and tears fighting for the rights we had under the Bill of Rights. (Unfortunately, we no longer have all those rights, today). They did not just pray: they rebelled and fought for what they gave us until some of it was taken away in recent times. We have to be just as overt and rebellious. We have to take a stand or every freedom we have ever known will soon be gone. All of you have to make a decision, today. Procrastination means death.

Denying the Power Thereof

December 21, 2012

In Luke 5:17-26, Jesus is inside a house, and a man laying on a couch with an affliction described as a palsy is brought to him by those carrying the man. They cannot get to Jesus through the press, so they dig through the roof and lay the man before Jesus. Luke 4:17 says, “As Jesus was teaching, there were Pharisees (clergy) and doctors of the law sitting by which were come out of every town of Galilee, Judea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.”

That power was not there just for that man, but for everybody present in that house. What happened in this case with all that power that was present? The man was healed, but in Luke 5:26 it says, “And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying ‘We have seen strange things today.'” Why were they amazed, and why were they fearful? It is because they grew up and in the case of the Pharisees, became priests but never came to accept that the power of God could be present in their lives to change things. They were denying the power thereof.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, “Know this! In the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy; without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors,  heady,  high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Does anything in these verses remind you of what happened in Connecticut recently with the massacre of 20 children and others?

The boy sure fit the description of a lot of what is said in these verses, but so does the church that was there eulogizing the victims of the massacre with President Obama present. They came into the service looking so sad and so powerless: they seemed more pathetic than anyone else present. They were not mad at the events that occurred. They were not looking for ways to take back what the enemy, Satan, had taken. They truly did not have a clue what to do. They were simply going to leave that up to Obama and other government officials to figure out. They truly were a church without power.

As Jesus was ready to depart into heaven, he left his disciples with words for his Church which would be born after he ascended into heaven. He said, “All of you go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:15-18) Does that sound like a Church with no power? They were certainly doing those things in the book of Acts just like Jesus had said. They believed and just as Jesus said, “These signs shall follow them that believe.”

The problem with the established Church today is they do not believe and thus have no power. They typify what is said in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. They have a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof. They have made themselves completely subservient to the government, and that is why they never speak out against what has been going on in this country the last several decades. They see themselves as powerless and thus will never get involved.

That is the type of church mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:5  from which we must turn away. Jesus did say to turn away from this type of church. Why? Because they are full of all those sins listed in the earlier verses; just like the boy who murdered all those children and adults. They go through the motions of saying they know God, but in truth they deny the very power God gave us over the enemy. That same power could take back our cities from the mass killers and restore order to our cities and our nation. This notion is foreign to the established Church and so they like those Pharisees and lawyers  are amazed when the power of God actually manifests itself in our world.

We need a Church that believes in the power of God. We do not need a Church which says, “The power of God ceased to be after the book of Acts.” That is simply an excuse not to believe. When Jesus speaks, he speaks to his Church throughout all ages. He does not want to return to a weak and powerless Church. He said, “From such turn away.” Jesus is coming back for a victorious Church, and until the Church starts believing everything Jesus said, it will never have power, and it will let this country fall into chaos and destruction.

Corruption: Front and Center

November 3, 2012

It has been reported in New York City in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, that a power crew from Alabama was turned away by the unionized power companies of that city, because the Alabama crew was not unionized. Does this make sense? Here are people coming to the aid of thousands, if not millions of people in need of power, and they are turned away because of a political position the unions have taken. This is not only ridiculous; it is an extreme example of corruption.

My father worked for Alabama Power Company and drove to other places in the country to restore power to people after large-scale disasters. He was never turned away when he was walking the earth, but things have changed dramatically since then. This country has become so polarized; it absolutely cannot continue to stand. “Every kingdom (nation) divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.” (Matthew 12:25) Choosing to turn away this crew because it was not unionized is the epitome of selfishness. They are so concerned about how this episode can harm them, they ignore the thousands or millions of people who are in immediate need in New York City today. What takes priority? Taking care of people in immediate need or taking some action that is perceived to be necessary to protect the union. The union was not and is not going to collapse because non-union members have come to help people in New York City get their power restored. By their actions, people have had to wait longer than necessary for some semblance of normality to come back into their lives.

2 Timothy 3:1-5, 8, 9 says, “Know this: in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…despisers of those that are good…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth…These men resist the truth and have corrupt minds, completely void of judgment concerning the faith. They shall proceed no further: because their folly shall be manifest to all men.” God says in the last days when men become like this, he will not allow it to go on any further. That is where we are today in this country. This union episode is a microcosm of what is going on in this nation as a whole. We are void of judgment concerning the things of God, and God has begun his judgment on us.

2 Peter 2:9-10, 12 says, “The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished: But mainly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness…as natural brute beasts; made to be taken and destroyed speak evil of the things they do not understand; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” God is giving us a choice: turn back to him or continue doing or allowing the same things that have been going on in this country the last several decades. Choose the first and this country will be saved from judgment. Choose to ignore this warning and God’s judgment on this country will finish the work that has already begun to destroy us. Which one do you think is the wiser choice?

Jesus said, “Every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore, by their fruits you shall know them.” We can see the fruits of these unions in New York City . We can see the fruits of other unions in other cities and states across the country. They surround people’s homes and frighten their children. They storm into state houses and trash the places they occupy. Does anyone think this pleases God? This is done by people who have hate in their heart. This is done by people who have rejected God in their life and will face punishment if they do not repent. This is where we are in this country today. This is what happens in a country that turns its back on God. This is what results when prayer is removed from our schools. We have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind. Hurricane Sandy was a giant whirlwind. More disasters are coming. God has left us to reap the seeds we have sown for our own destruction; and there is no turning back of his judgment on us unless this country repents.
