Government Service 2

Before I was talking about Rehoboam choosing to make the people of Israel his servants instead of him serving the people.  I asked the question, what was the result?  There is another answer to that question I wish to expand on here.

What exactly was the result of Rehoboam taking the foolish action of telling the people they must serve him with more rigor rather than easing their burden?  The result was an all out revolt where 10 out of 12 tribes of Israel seceded from the kingdom.  They set up a new kingdom to end up being a rival kingdom to Rehoboam’s kingdom now known as the kingdom of Judah.  Instead of having all those people serve him as he expected, he lost control of most of Israel.  His financial situation became much worse and his kingdom became susceptible to attack from the outside which occurred within five years.  Egypt attacked Judah and sacked the temple.

In my book, “Jeremiah’s Prophecies: The End of the United States,” the same scenario is prophesied to occur in the United States.  The United States government will increase its control of its citizens and a revolt will occur.  Chaos will begin to rule in our large cities.  Obama and the government will lose control of many of the citizens of the United States, and the  money he expects to collect from them will no longer be available to him.  The United States will fall into a tailspin with ever decreasing revenue which will lead to the government trying to turn the screws more on the citizens it still controls.  This is a disaster waiting to happen and will lead to the total collapse of the government and foreign forces being brought in during all of this to try to quell  the revolts.

God is our only refuge in this storm to come.  If we can turn to him now before all this comes to pass by true repentance and turning from our sins, we can save ourselves from this judgment of God on this country.  We have to stop electing the godless to power.  Everything they say to get elected is a lie.  They promise money to people to get elected with the premise of taking money from the rich (which is robbing from them) to give to the poor. They perceive this line will attract more voters to their party.  This is a Robin Hood mentality.  Stealing from the rich to give to the poor is still stealing.  It is a sin and brings God’s curse on our country.
