The Psalm Paralleling Our Presidential Turmoil

When I was reading Psalms 35, the Holy Spirit showed me that this paralleled with what was happening with Donald Trump. When I first started reading it and saw this, I tried to reject this as being the case: but the more I read it, the Holy Spirit kept impressing me that this does refer to what has been happening to Donald Trump in this presidential bid of his. So, let us read through this chapter and see what parallels there are that are listed that connect with what Donald Trump has been facing in his bid for the presidency.

“Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

“Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I am your salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

“Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul. Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he has hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

“All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like you which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him. Yes, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him? False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.

“I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother. But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not: with hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

“Lord, how long will you look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions. I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people. Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

“Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, ‘Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.’ This you have seen, Oh LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even to my cause, my God and my Lord.

“Judge me, O LORD my God according to your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Let them not say in their hearts, ‘Ah, so would we have it:’ let them not say, ‘We have swallowed him up.’ Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.”

So, what does this Psalm mean? Certainly, Donald Trump is not one to fast and pray, but he is where he is right now because of God. He has been the target and still is from people in both major parties. He has been facing what King David describes in this Psalm. So, where is this Psalm leading us regarding Donald Trump’s situation?

This Psalm is describing what is going on in this nation, today. It describes the division and turmoil that surrounds us. It shows us the plots that have been and will be carried out to try and destroy one man. Why is this important? It is important because all this resistance comes from people who are at war with God.

This Psalm shows us that God has been fighting on Donald Trump’s side all this time. It is because of God that Donald Trump has prevailed over all the other candidates. So, does this mean he will become our next president? No, that is not what it means.

We have a sin problem in this nation. This country has completely turned away from God. I suggest you listen to what Glenda Jackson said in a recent interview.

What is coming for this nation is not pleasant. What God says is going to happen makes this presidential season of no importance for those who are looking for a next president. I have been saying this for seven years based upon what God says in my book. Glenda Jackson, who is a well known prophet has in these last few months been saying the same thing, i.e. President Obama has no plans in leaving the White House.

So, is it a certainty that there will be no election this fall and that Obama will stay on as president? No, it is not a certainty, because God gives us an option. Donald Trump could be the next president and will be stirred on by him to make positive changes for this nation if we would only repent, now. God demands we take back now what the enemy has stolen from us. This requires us to rise up now and revolt against the unrighteous laws on the books. Who out there in the church is rising up? I do not see anyone at all.

Right now, pressure is being applied to the governor and people of North Carolina to allow men to enter women’s bathrooms and dressing rooms. Certain politicians are calling for a ban with any dealings with the state of North Carolina while the governor continues his stand against such immoral urgings. The governor is being brave to take a stand, but how much longer can he hang on with no help coming from the church? We need the church to start storming the streets today and begin to ban dealings with the states these politicians run.

The Obama administration has also began putting pressure on North Carolina and any other state that would take such stands. Let us now take to the streets and refuse to be taxed any longer by a federal government that only promotes evil and is trying to destroy all vestiges of God’s law. We can succeed if we would truly rise up and turn from our wicked silence. God demands action by us. We can no longer sit by and do nothing. There is no time left for us to be passive. If we do nothing, then before the election, the events needed to occur that will keep Obama in power indefinitely will come to pass, and then as Glenda Jackson said, and I have similarly said, “A Muslim flag will be flying over our capitol in the near future.”
