The Prophets of god

“If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, whatever he spoke to you while saying, ‘Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us serve them;’ you shall not hearken to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God tests you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 13: 1-3)

Today on the Internet, we can see many prophecies given by so called prophets saying many various and conflicting things. All cannot be right, and most are not right for that matter. How can we know who is right and who is wrong? Certainly, I have already talked about this subject recently. But God gave me some extra knowledge to pass onto you on this subject, so here is some deeper instruction in this area.

To know whether a prophet is hearing from God or not; from this word we know to look if this prophet is pointing you to another god rather than to God, himself. Be wary of false gods popping up in your life. About which gods could I be talking? It is the most common one of all; SELF!

Your typical Internet prophecy goes like this: “God told me this will happen”. “God gave me a dream on this subject and then followed it up with another dream on this subject, and each dream I get adds to the previous dream. All of this proves it was from God.” Generally, the dreams we are getting today are ones about disaster, martial law and other bad things happening in the United States. There are some who will tell you the opposite, also. While I do not disagree with bad things coming for the United States, most of which you are hearing is not a word from God. It is difficult to discern who is a legitimate prophet and who is not. But, do not turn to the Elijah List for accuracy, because the people who run that site do not follow Biblical procedures to discern who is giving an actual word from God.

So, let us take the case of a prophet who says, God told me this will happen.” Is there any other message with this prophecy? Is there any part of that message that is directing one to call on God for mercy or to praise him for the message? If it is just, “God told me this will happen;” then we are getting the same type of message we get from people who kill others and say, “God told me to do this!” In the latter case, the person is trying to divert his responsibility for the crime away from himself, but in the former, the person is getting people to admire them for their apparent holiness. They are making themselves look like a god to other people. Thus Deuteronomy 13: 1-3 takes on a significantly deeper meaning. God said, “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Did you notice what God said about such prophets giving words they say came from him? He said, I am testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” You see, if you have your attention focused on God in your daily life rather than worldly things, then you would be better able to know when God is speaking and when he is not speaking. The Holy Spirit would actually be helping you to know who to believe. However, when you put worldly things in your life ahead of God, then you do not love God with all your heart and all your soul. So, you end up being deceived by these false prophets.

It is imperative that you get your priorities in order first, and then look for a message from God that directs your attention toward him rather than toward the disaster or whatever that is being described in the prophecy. If you turn your attention toward God, then he can act to prevent such a disaster. The problem with the church in the United States is that his people are only listening to the bad or good these prophets say and disregard turning their thoughts and prayers to God. When you ignore God, you have false gods in your life that are more important to you than him.

To save the United States, stop listening to all the bad these prophets say will happen. Note the message, but then you have to go on to the next step which is told to us in Deuteronomy 13; 4. God says,

“You shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cleave to him.”

That is not what is happening in the United States. God’s people are not fearing him which means honor his word. God’s people are not obeying his voice nor his commandments. God’s people in the United States are not serving him with all their heart and getting as close to him as they possibly can. We have idols in our life we serve ahead of God in this nation. That is what is meant by God when in my book he said to us:

“The number of idols you have in your life is as numerous as the cities you have in your nation. All of you sacrifice to these idols you have set up in your hearts by depending on them for your livelihoods and never considering Me.”

“You have turned away from God and served those idols you have set up in your lives. You have abandoned God’s laws, removing them out of your sight. You have forgotten the principles your forefathers gave you, choosing to run after all the filth contained in your hearts. Your ears are dull of hearing, unable to hear God.”

Is it not true that we have been watching God’s laws being removed out of our sight in the United States? Is it not true our Founding Fathers would turn over in their graves from witnessing how we have departed from their principles? Is it not true that God’s church in the United States by being silent has been running in agreement with all the filth that is in people’s hearts in this nation? No wonder God’s people in the United States cannot discern God’s voice about what the consequences will be for turning our backs on him.

God’s solution for us with these idols in our lives is to do the following as quoted from my book:

“I have sent my pastors and preachers to you, warning you to repent, but you still cling to yours sins like glue to paper. My servants have said to you, ‘Turn away from the wickedness you are practicing, so God will not visit this land and punish all of us for our sins. Rid yourselves of the idols in your hearts that pollute your souls lest you anger the God who formed you. If you do this then God will have mercy on you and keep you from harm.'”

Do not think you are not in sin when you have things in your life more important to you than God. Do not think you can believe what these prophets tell you when you are not being directed toward the cause of all the bad that is coming for the United States. These prophets may be generally right about what types of things are going to happen in some cases, but they are only guessing from their hearts what is coming without being close enough to God to really hear his words. We can all predict things like earthquakes, hurricanes and the like, because these things always happen. What does God actually say and when can we expect it? This takes a precise word from God which these holy looking prophets cannot hear. These prophets need to repent and turn their attention toward what God wants for this country, and that is salvation for as many people as possible and redirecting the laws of this country back to the righteous decrees he gives us in his word. From this is where salvation for the United States comes. It can come from nowhere else.

The last word God has from me in this piece comes from Deuteronomy 13: 12-16 which says:

“If you shall hear say in one of your cities which the Lord your God has given you to dwell there, saying, certain men, the children of Belial (an evil god) are gone out from among you and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods which you have not known;’ then you shall inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and behold, if it is the truth, and the thing certain that such abomination is wrought among you; you shall surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. And you shall gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shall burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit for the Lord your God: and it shall be an heap forever; it shall not be built again.”

Washington D. C. has led this nation among other cities to go and serve other gods. God’s church in the United States is commanded to destroy this city and its inhabitants. While the punishment in the Old Testament is more drastic than after Jesus’ resurrection, the principle is still the same. God’s church is supposed to clean out these cities, especially Washington D. C. and cleanse them from all the filth that exists in them, today. God’s church, though has done nothing. Their silence is the same thing as a nod of approval for all the filth in our cities and their departure from following God’s commands. These cities are serving other gods today rather than God. That is why we will be judged without an immediate repentance by all of us. Washington D. C. will be burned, although not totally destroyed. God says in my book:

“You leaders of the United States, I hold you responsible for the deceit and corruption in your hearts. You have neither hearkened to my words nor had pity on the poor. You have passed your laws in secrecy hoping no one would find you out. You feed yourselves with privileges and dole out crumbs to those who serve you. I am delivering you into the hand of the enemy. I will make you the crumbs for the birds to eat. I will take your riches and give them to others. I will make you helpless before the army that will supplant you from your seats. Washington D.C. will be given to the enemy to plunder and destroy, never to rise again.”

“Whoever believes he can withstand my judgment in the city shall be visited by the sword of the enemy, the hopelessness of deliverance from his plight, and the aftermath of its destruction. All who flee the cities heeding my warnings shall live. He who stays shall lose everything. I am turning my protection away from Washington, D.C. It shall fall to the enemy who is coming. I will make it the basest of cities, removing the power from it which it once held.”

This is the future for Washington D. C. and other cities will face similar destruction. However, Washington D. C. will cease to be our capitol and will be a minor city where few people will stay making homes amongst the heaps of burned out buildings from which our godless rulers onced ruled. If only those in our nation’s capitol would heed God’s warning. They have no idea their days are extremely limited with God’s judgment on them not far advanced in the future.
