The Bogus Moral Argument for Illegal Immigration

In the Republican debate, we heard Jeb Bush and John Kasich argue for not enforcing our immigration laws against those illegal aliens already in our country. It was the same old tired argument from the liberal play-book saying, “We have better values than that to uproot families and destroy the lives of their children.” It always has been an excuse to keep the status quo. Let us examine how faulty this logic turns out to be.

Rush Limbaugh made a good point when saying, if it was 12 million top tier taxpayers who decided not to pay taxes anymore, then no one would be arguing not to send them to jail, basically uprooting their families and destroying their children’s lives. No, that is not too heartless, but to send illegal aliens back home where they come from is a horrible thing to do. These people have a double standard, because with the status quo, they expect to get something for themselves by not enforcing our immigration laws. Now, let us turn to the morality issue from a Biblical perspective.

The first question to ask is who is coming illegally into our country? It turns out that it is not just men crossing the border to find a job, but it is women and children who have no intention when they come across the border to get a job in the near future. They are coming because they have heard they will receive U.S. taxpayer assistance. The establishment Republicans will argue that it is impossible to send all these people, back and that it is immoral to uproot these families with their U.S. born children. Right there they are admitting that it is not just the men who are entering this country who might possibly be looking for work, but that there are women also crossing who are not going to seek employment in this country without a doubt in most cases. These Republicans along with the Democrats want the U.S. taxpayer to take up their bill. That is immoral in itself. It is not their money about which they are talking , but are instead directing you to pay for someone else to freeload off of your hard earned money.

Now let us expand this argument. Since it is heartless to send anyone back who comes into this country illegally, then it would be heartless for us to enforce our borders against those people in the entire world who wish to come. Why not let everyone in the world who wants to come enter our country who are not able to get by in their own country. Let them come and live off of the American taxpayer? It is the same principle. What right for reasons of compassion do we have to draw a line anywhere? Let everyone in the world come and live off of our hard earned money which they did not earn. Let us see if the American taxpayer actually can afford to support all the (I am sorry to say) deadbeats the world has to offer. Does anyone really think this is possible?

Let us ask the question of how are these people getting into the United States in the first place since everything costs money to go anywhere? These people spend hundreds and most commonly thousands of dollars to pay someone to get them into the United States. These people had the money all along to get by in their own country, so why are they coming here? Again, it is because they have heard the American taxpayer will give them the money to survive; money for which they do not have to work. That is not true in every case, but the word has gone out in the last two years or more which has brought a flood of women and children into our country from the Latin American countries. We are getting the very people who are failures within their own cultures, so how can anyone think they will not be a failure in our own country when they have the added disadvantage of not being able to speak our language?

Then there is the case that we are destroying our own culture by bringing this flood of people into our own country from different cultures. They are bringing into our nation a culture (mostly Spanish) which has been a failure from its inception in this continent and supplanting our culture over the long run with theirs. It is the American culture that made this nation the greatest the world has ever seen. Now over time it is being replaced by a failed culture which can only end up making this country like the countries they left. We are watching this country go down the tubes economically right now. Our time is running out before disaster strikes our economy. Then we will have nowhere to turn.

So, why is their (Spanish) culture a failure? It all boils down to spiritual issues. The Spanish began exploring this continent looking for gold. They had a love for money. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves with many sorrows.” (1 Timothy 6: 10) That is why these countries are in such a pitiful state. The love of money ended up piercing them with many sorrows.

However, in the United States our founders originally came to our shores looking from freedom to worship God. God was number one in their life and not money. From that good start, God blessed these people and this culture devoted to God ended up making this the greatest nation the world has ever seen as I said earlier. Success, starts with God, and this is why our society has decayed to the point of imminent destruction. We are morally and spiritually bankrupt, because we have departed from God.

Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12:

“For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.”

Even though this is Paul speaking, it is God’s word despite what Jimmy Carter says about Paul. Paul is specifically talking about within the Church, but the principle is the same. One should not be feeding themselves off of others instead of working for their own food. This is morally wrong. John Kasich and Jeb Bush ignore this fact.

Sure, you should help people when they are in need, but it is not supposed to be the government doing it. God and Jesus instruct the Church to help those in need. Through the decades , our government has usurped that role and forced us through their laws to do that about which we have no say. The government does it to increase its power over us, and it is not done out of any true motivation of charity. The government is drunk with a desire for your money to fund whatever fills their minds to do and satisfies their true desires. Those in government have a love of money which has born fruit of all the evil that now issues from it.

Jeb Bush and John Kasich argue for that which is morally wrong. They dress it up as being morally wrong to enforce our laws, but those laws are in the books for a reason. Those laws keep an unbearable burden off of our own citizens from having to feed any freeloader that wants to enter our country illegally. We have to enforce the border to send the message that they will not be allowed to come. We have to send back those in this country to remove that motivation from others to not even dare pay someone thousands of dollars to smuggle them into our country. Even if we cannot get them all out; to do nothing sends the message to the world that if you can sneak in, the American taxpayer will pay your way for the rest of your life. This is a morally bankrupt argument presented by the Democrats and establishment Republicans.

In the end, all of which I am talking about is academic. Our number one problem is this nation has departed from God, and we have a government that has a love of money which initiates all this evil that has now flooded our society. The arguments saying the government can do this for us has only taken away our freedoms and has resulted in our money being sent to organizations like Planned Parenthood which murders unborn babies and in some cases children who did survive the abortion. The government also gives money to gay and lesbian groups to enable them to propagate their destructive agenda for this nation. We have to rise up and rebel against all that is going on today in this nation, or the end will be upon us in a very short time from now. I can promise you this comes from God about our imminent destruction. You however, do not have to take my word for it. Ask God yourself!
