It’s Time for the Church to Stop Retreating

Fifty years ago, the Church in the United States allowed prayer to be removed from our schools. Forty years ago, the Church allowed abortion to become legal permanently when they did not refuse to accept the Supreme Court’s ruling to legalize abortion. Twenty years ago, the Church allowed Bill Clinton to let homosexuals stay in the military if they kept their mouth’s closed. In these last several years, homosexual marriage has come into being and their agenda continues to progress more and more with each passing year. What was once a crime is now being lauded by the media and Obama as a right and a noble act. Also, it is a heroic act to come out. Do these people know the true definition of heroism?

God says, “You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is abomination. “(Leviticus 18: 22) God also says in Leviticus 20: 13, “If a man also lies with mankind, as he lies with a woman; both of them have committed an abomination.” For those who think the Old Testament no longer applies, Romans 1: 27 says, “Likewise, also the men leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men doing those things which are unseemly and receiving in themselves that consequence of their act of error which is right.”

Now this blog piece is not about attacking homosexuals, but it is about the Church allowing what is clearly stated as sin to come to pass in this country and not stand up against it. God loves every homosexual, but their sin is destructive to them and any society that accepts it. We all can see the decay of our society leading us to total destruction. In every area, the people who hate God are succeeding in throwing him out of the public arena and allowing acts like abortion and homosexuality to grow and flourish. No society has ever lasted when immorality rules the roost. We cannot be an exception, although there are some prophets out there who refuse to believe God would judge us just like he judged the kingdoms of Israel and Judah more than 2500 years ago for going down the exact same path we are going down today.

In Hebrews 6, we are told it is impossible for God to lie. Also Number 23: 19 says, “God is not a man that he should lie.” This means he is not like man who can and does lie. God does not lie. If he said something in the past, then it applies to today. He said, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6: 7) Hosea 8: 7 says, “For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” This means that those who sow bad seed in their life will reap very destructive consequences. How then can God not judge America if they sow the very same seeds the kingdoms of Judah and Israel sowed more than 2500 years ago? The law of sowing and reaping cannot be broken. We will reap what we have sown.

God in my book says, “Why have you pursued your own desires without me? By doing this, you have taught others your wicked ways. The blood of those who have stood against your sin (that day is fast approaching in our country; read ‘The Coming Persecution’) and of those unborn children you have killed for pleasure-seeking has not been unnoticed. You think you are innocent before me and that I will not punish you. You think you have my approval for what you have done because my pastors said it was okay. Why are you trying to argue with me? You were ashamed of these things in the past, and you will be ashamed again. You will not be able to use your excuses to claim your innocence before me. You have rejected my principles and it will lead to your ruin.”

The Church needs to stand up and stop our decline in this country. It has to stop retreating. It has continually stepped back every time the godless have made gains against us with only light verbal complaining. Complaining accomplishes nothing. Faith without works is dead. This country was born by men who acted. They did more than complain: they acted. Prayers will not change anything by itself. The very people praying have to step out of their comfort zone, make sacrifices, and be ready to be imprisoned or even be put to death to put this country back on the path our Founding Fathers set us on more than 200 years ago. God requires us to act now. Without faith, it is impossible to please him. Without works, faith has no affect, because it is not faith without the actions that go with it.

If any of you want to save this country, then all of you have to act today. When the economy crashes in the fall of 2015, then no amount of faith is going to save this nation from God’s wrath. It will be too late.
