A Prophet: Born to be Offensive

Recently, I came across a person who prophesied through a dream strongly suggesting Obama would not be reelected. I could tell from that alone, she was not grasping what is coming our way regarding judgment. After the election, she sent out an email saying her prophecy was not time specific and will probably still come to pass. Besides the point I have been stressing about not taking heed to these prophetic dreams on the Internet, I contacted this person telling them they were not grasping fully what was coming our way, and there was some offense taken; but she was trying to be a little open-minded about what I was saying. I did what prophets do. I somehow made and make people take offense.

Jeremiah was constantly making people take offense to what he was saying. In Jeremiah 29, Jeremiah prophesied to the prophet Shemaiah, because he was trying to get people to reprove Jeremiah for prophesying against the kingdom of Judah. Now that sure is a good way to make friends, or should I say make someone take offense to what one is saying. It happened to him also in Jeremiah 27. However, here it was the priests and the prophets together saying he should be executed. Jeremiah’s own home town wanted to kill him. Jeremiah sure was good at making people take offense to all that he was saying.

The best example in the Bible is probably in 1 Kings 22. While every prophet was prophesying before Ahab that the Lord would give him victory over Syria, Michaiah prophesied the death of Ahab in the coming battle. He went on to say that a lying spirit from the Lord had been sent to his prophets to convince Ahab that he would prosper in the coming battle. The prophet Chenaanah then approached Michaiah and smote him on the cheek and said, “Which way did the Lord’s spirit depart from me to speak to you?” He had taken great offense to what Michaiah said, but it was Michaiah who prophesied correctly. It is the one who prophesies truth that causes people to take offense. Demonic spirits do not want the truth to come out so they raise up opposition against it. That is what is going to happen in this country in the coming days as people deliver the same message I have been delivering. This message is going to cause a lot of people to face persecution, arrest and maybe even death.

In my book it says that people of the church will say, “Why are you prophesying such lies to us?” They will go to the political leaders and the media to try them in the court of public opinion. They will do everything they can do to silence God’s true prophets. My book goes on to say, “Persecution is coming for delivering my word of judgment. The worldly church leaders, the media, and the government will all act together to silence those who say, ‘Repent or face God’s wrath.'”

Our rights to speak in this country are going to be attacked more and more. The United Nations wants to tax the Internet and Obama will almost assuredly approve this idea in the coming months. Soon you can expect to pay to do a search on the Internet. How long do you think your freedom of speech on the Internet is going to last while these ideas the United Nations have gain more and more approval by the world’s leaders? God is going to give the United Nations more viability with the Western world’s leaders. Obama does want the kind of world as envisioned by the UN as a whole.

It is up to us to go and tell this country and the world what is coming. That makes us God’s prophets. If we speak, we will end up facing persecution. Are you willing to go that far? This is what it takes to save this country. The Church has sat on its ass (sorry if you take offense) and not spoken up with what has been going on in this country for decades, and look where it has led us.

Ezekiel 33:6 says, “If the watchman sees the sword come (judgment) and does not blow the trumpet; and the people be not warned; if the sword comes and takes any person from among them, and he is taken away in his iniquity; I will require his blood at the watchman’s hand.” It is our duty to speak. I for one do not want someone else’s blood on my hands. What is coming is going to bring a lot of death, and we are God’s watchmen for this nation. So, speak and be God’s watchman for this country. What other choice do we have? The wrath of God is a far greater danger to face than standing up and proclaiming God’s message to this country. God does promise us some protection from what is coming. But, we cannot have his protection if we do nothing.
